Ibadan City is rightly acclaimed to be the largest Black Man City in Africa South of Sahara yet could not boast of an equitable number of standard relaxation, recreation and entertainment centres until a couple of decades ago when generation standard social clubs like Omo-Ajorosun sprang up.
The club in conjunction with its Ireland chapter, as part of its corporate social responsibility donated mattresses, pillows and wheelchairs to the 6 selected government hospitals as part of its contribution to the Oyo State Health Programme. Included also were 2 orphanage homes that benefited from the donations. The event held in July 22, 2022 at the club premises
This programme was organized to felicitate with club members, their families, and friends of the club. It was held within the premises of the club. Present at the event were dignitaries that across politics, religious and professionals' circles in Nigeria
The Omo Aj'orosun Club held its yearly children's day celebration on May 27, 2022 with over 400 children drawn across the length and breadth of Ibadanland. This number was achieved after the club made radio advertisements for the event. We thank God it was a huge success.
The new executives led by Alhaji Abiola Alli has provided scholarships to some indigent students.
