Omo Aj'orosun Club of Ibadan is the first indigenous social club in Ibadan.
The Omo Ajorosun Club is a member club of the CCII and also the flagship of all socio-cultural organisations in Ibadan - the capital of the Pace setting state.
Ibadan City is rightly acclaimed to be the largest Black Man City in Africa South of Sahara yet could not boast of an equitable number of standard relaxation, recreation and entertainment centres until a couple of decades ago when generation standard social clubs like Omo-Ajorosun sprang up.
Omo Ajorosun club established during this period grows with such remarkable rapidty to excel similar clubs set up at the time. Its phenomenal growth is beautifully exhibited in the provisions of entertainment, and recreational - facilities and also in the conspicuous sitting of its permanent base in an easily accessible and convenient location to afford it a comfortable relaxation centre.
The welfare packages of the club in contributing to serve the community, in the areas of provision of scholarships to indigents students, boreholes for portable water in urban and rural centres etc. are also very commendable. The promotion of healthy living through in-door games and dialogues on current affairs added great attractions to the club.
It serves as a sports and recreational centre for the elderly ones and its committed to promoting the development of the city and its cultural heritage.
