Comrade Aderogba Adebayo Taofik - The Deputy National President (FOBTOB) Graduated from The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos
Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 was a beehive of colourful activities as the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, graduated 89 notable Nigerians of the Senior Executives Course SEC (44), 2022.
The ceremony which conferred membership (mni) of the prestigious National Institute on the graduands has two notable personalities from the pace setter state Oyo state. The Deputy National President, Food, Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, Comrade Aderogba Taofik, mni.
Aderogba described the programme as a rare honour that added another colourful feather to his cap. While expressing gratitude to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, for counting him worthy of such honour; he also expressed his gratitude to the Director-General NIPSS, Prof. Ayo Omotayo; and course mates who were very friendly and patriotic. He used the opportunity too to thank family, friends and members of Omo Aj’orosun club of Ibadanland who graced the colourful ceremony and contributed greatly to the success of the programme.
Recall that earlier this year, Comrade Aderogba, a proud son of Ibadanland and a prominent member of the prestigious Omo Aj’orosun Club of Ibadan was reported to have been enlisted among others to attend the Senior Executive Course (44), 2022, of the National Institute, by President Muhammadu Buhari. Before this new achievement, Comrade Aderogba, a fellow of The Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration (FCPA), has distinguished himself in service to the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (FOBTOB) in the capacity of National Deputy President.
The course which started in February lasted for ten months till December, 2022. The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) was conceived as a high-level institution with the primary objectives of serving as the nation’s foremost policy think-tank to develop a crop of top-class technocrats of high intellectual capacity, who will conceptualize and anchor the implementation of innovative and dynamic policy initiatives and strategies, critical for national development. NIPSS was established by Decree number 20 of 1979, now Cap N-51 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
